We have taken every step possible to safeguard all patients during Consultations & Treatments
We are monitoring the situation closely and day by day - at the moment, we’re operating the clinic as usual and look forward to seeing you for your next appointment subject to the evolving changes daily.
We are here as Doctors to serve you, we have over 25 years of combined medical experience.
Every XERF patient has a consultation before any treatment is booked. We take a full medical history, look at your skin and explain what XERF can and cannot do for you. If XERF is not the right treatment, we will say so.
Some circumstances mean XERF needs to wait, or is not suitable. They include pregnancy and breastfeeding, and an implanted electronic device such as a pacemaker or a defibrillator. They also include metal implants in the area to be treated, and an active skin infection or an open wound at the site. Recent treatments, medicines and any condition affecting healing are all relevant.
This list is not complete, and none of it is a diagnosis. Bring your medical history and a list of your current medicines to your consultation. Each of these points is discussed at consultation, and the decision is made with you.
If anything changes between your consultation and your appointment, tell us before you come in.
The manufacturer reports no downtime after XERF. Most patients return to their normal routine the same day. Mild warmth or pink skin usually settles within a few hours. Keep the treated area clean, use sun protection and drink plenty of water. Call the clinic if anything concerns you.
Some Steps we have taken:
No waiting time ! You are taken straight to the Consultation room.
We sterilise all of our treatment beds, chairs, doors and medical equipment.
We disinfect our clinical rooms after every treatment using an antibacterial solution.
Our staff are washing their hands after every single client, using handwashing technique as set out by the WHO as usual.
We disinfect our reception desk after every transaction and all door handles at regular intervals throughout the day as usual.
We are checking in with staff daily to ensure they are healthy and well, and have not been in contact with anyone who has travelled from the worst affected Covid-19 areas.
Please don’t be offended, but we will be asking anyone coming to the clinic for their appointment to also wash their hands on arrival.
If you have a cold, a sniffle, a cough, fever or are feeling unwell, firstly, we are sorry to hear it!
And secondly, we would ask that you kindly reschedule your appointment here so that we can see you when you’re back feeling fighting fit.
If and when the time comes that we need to take extra measures, we will do so in the most responsible way as advised by the right authorities.
